Tortoise Premieres New Music in Pritzker Pavillion at Millennium Park, Chicago on Thursday July 29, 2010

Tortoise is premiering new music this Thursday 7/29 at Millennium Park in Chicago – a commission by our hometown, with extra-special guests Nicole Mitchell – flute, Edward Wilkerson Jr. – sax and clarinets, Greg Ward – alto sax, Fred Lonberg-Holm – cello/electronics, and Jim Baker – piano/ARP 2600. 6:30 p.m. rain or shine, free admission.

Benefit for Drummond School at Lincoln Hall, Chicago on June 3rd!

Tortoise will be performing at Lincoln Hall, Chicago on June 3rd as part of a benefit for Drummond Montessori School. 100% of all proceeds go to Drummond. Also on the bill is the fantastic D. Rider! 21 and up. Tickets $20.
