Tortoise recorded a score this summer for ‘Blair Witch Project’ director Eduardo Sanchez’s new film. LOVELY MOLLY premieres at midnight, September 14th at the Toronto International Film Festival. Hope our Canadian friends can make it!

Tortoise is premiering new music this Thursday 7/29 at Millennium Park in Chicago – a commission by our hometown, with extra-special guests Nicole Mitchell – flute, Edward Wilkerson Jr. – sax and clarinets, Greg Ward – alto sax, Fred Lonberg-Holm – cello/electronics, and Jim Baker – piano/ARP 2600. 6:30 p.m. rain or shine, free admission.
Tortoise’s collaboration with Wire frontman Colin Newman was broadcast on the BBC on Oct 15. It is streaming here until Oct 25. The show is also available in podcast form.
